AI & Image Analysis Engineer / Elemental Research and R&D in Image Analysis AI

■Overview of Responsibilities
You will be assigned to one of the following areas:
① Porting and integration development of image processing IP into products
② Element/early-stage development for object detection and road condition recognition in autonomous driving

■Job Details
You will work on one of the following tasks at a project site specializing in image processing and AI R&D:
(1) Porting & Integration of Image Processing IP
Porting image analysis and recognition IP developed by clients into various target products
Optimizing client-developed IP for specific chipsets through software development

(2) Element & Exploratory Development for Autonomous Driving
Designing AI model architectures using data from cameras, LiDAR, and radar sensors
Identifying and testing hypotheses for improving recognition accuracy of trained models

※Both roles require close collaboration with researchers and the ability to verify and examine solutions to assigned technical challenges.

【Required Qualifications (Either A or B)】
■A. Embedded Systems / Image Processing
Experience in embedded development using C or C++
Experience in porting or integrating image processing IP into products
■B. AI / Advanced Development
Experience in element or exploratory development (e.g., object detection, road condition recognition for autonomous driving)
Hands-on experience in developing and implementing machine learning models using Python
Understanding of AI network structures

【Preferred Qualifications】
■A. Related to Embedded Systems
Experience in image processing within embedded development
Experience with Deep Learning
Experience writing Python scripts (e.g., for image processing or file operations)
Familiarity with AI accelerator runtime libraries
■B. Related to AI Development
Experience handling or processing point cloud data
Experience with Azure services (e.g., Azure Machine Learning)
Experience using GitHub for code and version control
Strong understanding of data analysis and algorithms

Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Night Shifts: None
Average Overtime: Less than 40 hours per month

Full time (Permanent)

6-month probation period (flexible working hours are not applicable during this period)

5〜7M JPY / annually
