Development and Design of Control Software for Electron Beam Mask Writers

The role primarily involves development tasks requiring advanced knowledge not only of software but also the entire equipment system. Specific responsibilities include:

・Software Development: Developing various aspects such as user interfaces, data formats, and internal processing, along with managing development processes and methodologies.
・Customer Support: Acting as a software expert to understand and address customer feedback necessary for equipment development.
・Overseas Deployment and Support: Traveling onsite during the installation of the latest devices to directly communicate with customers, gather requirements, and resolve issues.
・Maintenance Operations: Collaborating with field service engineers to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform software porting to next-generation environments due to hardware EOL.

Technologies used include C++, Java, Python, bash, mainly on Linux (Redhat-based) systems.
Initially, you will start with routine tasks such as testing and packaging to deepen your understanding of the products. Proactive identification of quality issues and proposing solutions is expected.

Career progression involves supporting development teams initially, with opportunities to lead small projects from the second year onwards based on experience and ability.
Comprehensive training and development programs are provided, including hands-on OJT, study sessions, and regular 1-on-1 support.

・Experience in some form of software development
・Knowledge of physics and mathematics
・Ability to read and write in English

◆Preferred (WANT):
・Experience in GPU software development
・Experience developing software that handles large-scale data
・Knowledge and practical experience in software design (object-oriented)
・Experience in multi-process and multi-threaded software development
・Knowledge of numerical analysis
・Knowledge of statistics
・Experience in computer simulation
・Knowledge and experience in software testing and quality management
・Experience in patent research and application
