Bilingual UI/UX Designer for Cutting-Edge Products

Our company is a cloud-native business that was founded during the early days of cloud computing. Established in 2008, prior to the full-scale service launch of a major cloud platform, we have been at the forefront of cloudifying enterprise systems since the official service launch in 2010.

We provide "project-based services" where we build new enterprise systems based on customer requirements using agile development, as well as "managed services" for the maintenance and operation of the systems we create. Through these services, we have made a significant contribution to the spread of cloud technology in Japan. Additionally, based on the insights gained from these services, we also offer SaaS solutions.

We are looking for someone who can drive and lead the UI/UX design for our products. You will be responsible for designing the service experience that not only solves client challenges but also creates value for the users, translating that vision into a seamless UI. You will conduct comprehensive user research from multiple perspectives, and take charge of the entire process, including information architecture, user experience design, and prototyping, while also providing direction throughout these phases.

Responsibilities
Lead the entire process of UI/UX design
Provide UI/UX direction to the development team
Facilitate agreement formation through presentations and proposals to stakeholders
Conduct information architecture, design specification creation, and UI design based on requirements (using tools such as Figma)
Build and manage design systems

Required Skills:

Practical experience in user research
Experience in creating personas and customer journey maps
Experience in information architecture and interaction design
Experience using prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch)
Understanding and practice of design thinking and user-centered design
Preferred Skills:
Experience in strategic business analysis
Experience in service design
Experience in building and managing design systems
Experience in project management
Japanese skills in order to communicate smoothly for external vendors / internal team
