Job Responsibilities

Project management and engineering management for various overseas plant projects (gas treatment, LNG, oil refining, petrochemical, chemical, etc.), including EPC, bid estimation, and FEED planning, execution, and management.

Negotiating and coordinating with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.

Coordinating with internal departments and overseas subsidiaries' design and execution teams.

Managing EPC execution elements such as schedule, cost, change claims, and risks.

Managing and overseeing the utilization of human resources, materials, finances, and information.

As the core of global project execution, lead projects with innovative project management and advanced engineering technology, ensuring project success and contributing to securing project profits.

Oversee projects from a macro perspective, maximizing synergies between Design/Procurement/QC while managing various risks, optimizing project execution from the Home Office with the use of digital tools.

Develop a resource base of diverse "project execution talents" with leadership and expertise through the experience of various projects and functions, continuously producing leaders capable of delivering projects on time and with proper profits. Establish a dual foundation of a project execution system based on a digital project delivery platform, transforming into a multi-talented project group capable of adapting to diverse fields, not only in low carbon sectors but also in the energy transition.

Overseas Assignment (Deployment)

Overseas assignment available.

An overseas assignment at the construction site is expected for 1-2 years. Frequency and duration will depend on the responsibilities, company, and individual circumstances.

There is also the possibility of an assignment to an overseas design subsidiary.

Overseas Business Trips

Overseas business trips available.

During the design phase, expect about two overseas business trips per year, each lasting approximately one week.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications (Experience & Skills)

More than 5 years of practical experience in plant EPC projects, bid estimation, and FEED (Front-End Engineering Design), both domestically and internationally.

More than 2 years of experience in coordinating with overseas clients, subsidiaries, licensors, vendors, and contractors in English.

Required Language Skills

English: Advanced level (capable of business conversations and technical discussions).

Japanese: JLPT N2 or higher (sufficient Japanese language ability for business discussions).
