Seeking a senior front-end engineer to lead the design, development, and operation of web UI for internal and external use. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high quality services in collaboration with backend engineers, with an awareness of highly readable and reusable code.
【Job Description (Assumed) 】
・Overall front-end development and operation of web services
・Customize Shopify, develop apps, and improve admin screens
・Organize and promote implementation of non-functional requirements (performance, security, etc.)
・Support skill improvement through code reviews and technical sharing within the team
・Junior members Understanding of best practices and communicating them internally and externally.
The candidate should be able to lead development with initiative and leadership.
・ Emphasis on back-end collaboration such as API design
・ Value communication within the team and contribute to the maturation of the development culture.
Qualifications
・Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent work experience
・Business speaking ability in Japanese (JLPT N2 or above)
・Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) including version control and CI/CD
・3+ years of front-end development experience and lead engineering experience Deep understanding of modern front-end frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue.js, etc.)
・Experience mentoring or managing junior members
・Experience utilizing AI tools such as ChatGPT and Gemini to gather information, create documentation and improve work efficiency
