job description
As a software engineer , you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of business systems for life insurance companies.
Your main responsibilities will be below
Receive project orders from the client and hold meetings with the offshore side to explain the project.
Review of deliverables (design, source, test result review, etc.)
Communication with related parties for progress reporting and quality assurance.
System research and analysis, requirement definition, work from basic design to production migration and work instructions for offshore team
Depending on skills and experience, project management and client negotiation may also be required.
Qualifications
Experience in upstream design
More than 3 years of COBOL development experience in a mainframe environment (IBM/Fujitsu)
Business level Japanese language skills
